The Department of Neurology offers comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and treatment services for adult and geriatric patients with disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles. Clinical services are organized into general neurology and subspecialty programs. Clinical research activities are ongoing in many subspecialty areas including Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, neurorehabilitation (stroke and spinal cord injury), and post-polio.
