The Department of Neurology has over 100 research trainees (postdoctoral fellows, research associates, and graduate students) working with our faculty in a wide variety of research area. The research trainees are vital four our department's sucess in elucidating the mechanisms of neurological disorders, and our department is fully committed to their support. The Graduate Education Committee organizes events to benefit the research trainees' professional development, career choices, responsible conduct in research, learning new research techniques and integration in the greater UCLA Neuroscience Community. To facilitate the dialogue between our clinical and research tranees, our residents in presenting posters at the Annual Collins Day, an event held at the end of each May highlighting the ongoing research in our department.
