Trial Shows Success of New Stroke Device
Medical Device Daily reported Feb. 8; MedPage Today and Medscape Today reported Feb. 5; and Clinical Psychiatry News and Examiner reported Feb. 3 on a clinical trial led by Dr. Jeffery Saver, professor of neurology and director of the UCLA Stroke Center, and Dr. Reza Jahan, associate professor of radiology and the study's principal neurointerventional investigator, finding that an experimental new device for removing blood clots in stroke patients dramatically outperformed the standard mechanical treatment. Saver and Jahan were quoted.
